IOSH Approved Managing Safely e-learning, with VideoTile Learning

The IOSH Approved Managing Safely® with VideoTile Learning course is designed to provide managers, supervisors, and team leaders with the practical knowledge and confidence needed to effectively manage health and safety within the workplace. Delivered entirely online, the course combines engaging video-led learning with interactive content, allowing learners to study flexibly at their own pace.

Through a series of practical modules, learners will develop an understanding of key health and safety responsibilities, how to identify workplace hazards, carry out effective risk assessments, investigate incidents, and measure health and safety performance. The course focuses on applying health and safety principles in real workplace situations to help create safer working environments across all industries.

We work in partnership with a trusted training provider to deliver online IOSH Approved Managing Safely® via their online platform. We act as an agent for this course and are not directly approved by or associated with IOSH.

Key areas covered include hazard identification, risk assessments, incident investigations, and adherence to safety regulations. Upon completion, participants will receive the internationally recognised IOSH Managing Safely certificate, showcasing their commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

Assessment

The course is assessed in two parts:

• A 30-question multiple-choice online assessment
• A practical workplace-based risk assessment assignment

Both assessments are completed online following the course.

Certification

Successful candidates receive an IOSH-approved certificate. 

Process on Certification Following Completed Course and Assessment:

Once the candidate has completed their assessment, it will be reviewed and marked and will take approximately 7 working days to receive their result. 

The candidate will receive an email with their result. If a candidate fails, they will be given 2 more attempts on the assessment. If they pass, their certificate will come directly from IOSH. The candidate will receive an email in approximately 10 working days. The email will ask the candidate to register for an account on the IOSH system, or to log into an existing IOSH account if they already have one. When registering, the candidate must use the same email address used for their H21 e-learning account. If a candidate tries to register on their IOSH account with a different email address, it won’t work. Once they have registered on their IOSH account, it will allow them to log in and download a PDF of their certificate.
